Zack studied biomedical engineering and biology in the BS+MS program at Tufts University and went on to work in a research laboratory at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. Currently, in his doctoral work at McGill, Zack is working on tissue-specific gene expression data as a way of understanding disease mechanisms, and cognition. In his free time, Zack mostly listens to books on tape and makes his own pickled and fermented foods.
